Much more than a tarp or a floor mat, this protective covering is constructed of durable 22-ounce polyester fabric that resists regular shop chemicals, oil, mildew and rot to protect finished flooring as well as porous concrete floors from staining and damage. Able to stand up to temperatures as low as minus 40-degrees F and resistant to UV fading, this ground cover can even be used outdoors to prevent spills from entering the environment. The edge features a 1.18-inch tall foam roll edge that works to contain chemical and fluid spills and prevent them soaking into or damaging workshop and garage floors. To help clean up spills or other debris after use, the floor guard comes with a 21.25-inch wide by 1.5-inch thick foam headed squeegee with a detachable 23-inch to 39-inch expanding aluminum handle. A set of 4 stay-put hook-and-loop adhesive patches are included to secure the guard to floors for longer-term use under a daily driver with a leak you’ve yet to track down or to leave under a project car who isn’t quite yet ready for the road.
