Made from durable chromoly (Cr-Mo) steel, this adapter features a rust and corrosion resistant black oxide coating for lasting durability and surface protection. The wobbling design of the swivel allows the adapter to access fasteners at a range of angles unreachable by impact wrenches when approached straight on. A spring around the swiveling joint gives helps hold the adapter straight and prevent it from twisting and turning making insertion into confined spaces easier. A spring loaded detent ball on the male end keeps attached extensions or sockets snugly in place during use.
