Introduction

Flex Shaft Tool Sets include popular combinations of motors, speed controls, and handpieces – the three key components of a complete flexible shaft machine. Unlike our Pre-Packed Kits, they do NOT come with any accessory assortments, but do include a tube of grease. The K.8301 shown here and K.8301-2 (230 Volt version) are the only sets that come packed in a printed box. All other sets come packed in a white box.

Motor and Speed Control carry a 2 Year Limited Warranty. Components:
1. Series SR Motor:
Foredom’s most popular and best motor for general use. The 1/6 HP, ball bearing, hang-up styleM.SR runs in forward and reverse at speeds up to 18,000 RPM. It offerssubstantially more power than any ofour older universal motors – 66% more than Series CC and 33% more than Series S and old SR motors. It comes equipped witha motor bale for hanging and our standard 39 long key tipinner shaft and outer sheath for connecting to any of Foredoms interchangeable handpieces.

2. C.FCT Speed Control:
Foredom’s most popular foot operated speed control. Ithas solid state electronics and comes in a heavy duty plastic housing with an extra wide design.

* H.30 Handpiece:
Foredom’s most popular general purpose handpiece features a 3-jaw, geared chuck with a 0-5/32 capacity. Accessory changes are easy with this handpiece using the supplied HPCK-0 Chuck Key.

SHIPPING METHOD: This item must ship via UPS. During the checkout process you may be offered Priority Mail but this item must ship via UPS. If you select Priority Mail, it will only slow down the process as we will have to change the shipping method after the fact and charge the difference. We have learned the hard way to not ship fragile or high value items via Priority Mail.
